Giving up your beagle can be a very difficult and emotional decision - we are here to help.
Before making a final decision about giving up your beagle, please check out these websites that may be able to assist you in finding a way to keep you and your beagle together:
Because foster home space is severely limited, we ask the family surrendering their dog to care for it until a suitable foster/forever home can be found. During this time, we will advertise your dog on our website, and Facebook page. We do require that the dog be spayed or neutered if we are to cross post the dog.
If it is not possible for you to continue to care for your dog, and if we have no foster homes available, please consider placing your dog at your local Humane Society, Animal League, or SPCA, where your dog will have maximum opportunity for adoption.
In the rare event we can accept your dog into our foster program, we request a donation of whatever amount you are able to give, so that we can continue to see to the dog’s vetting needs as we search for his/her adoptive home. Our operating costs come solely from donations, and your donation is 100 per cent tax deductible.
